EU Energy Agreement

The well-publicised events at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant resulting from an unprecedented Tsunami have caused global concern. Serck Heat Exchange understand this concern but feel that safe nuclear power is an essential part of the low-carbon energy mix. The EU Council of Ministers (energy) have just agreed, in light of the issues at hand, that all of Europe’s 143 reactors should be re-assessed for safety by the end of the year.

Serck Heat Exchange are in a position to assist operators in this process with particular regard to cooling systems and stand-by power systems. We can offer a variety of physical lifetime/ performance testing supported by software driven analysis. Our aim is to offer advice on the condition of plant and any remedial works that may be required.
